We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing meaningful help in the lives of children, and families across the Houston Area who have been effected by cancer. Our goal is to raise funds for such familes in order to help fight Pediatric Cancer.
Our Story
Our founder, Marco Villarreal, has had a lifelong passion for medicine that dates back to his childhood. From a young age, he envisioned a career in the medical field, deeply inspired by the positive impact healthcare professionals have on people's lives. This dedication took a poignant turn during his college years when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a challenging form of blood cancer that would test his resilience and determination.
Fortunately, Marco was in Houston, home to one of the leading cancer treatment centers in the world, MD Anderson Cancer Center. The expert care he received made a profound difference in his journey, providing him with not just treatment, but also hope.
While receiving treatment at MD Anderson—specifically during one of his infusions in the Pediatric Treatment Center—Marco was inspired to establish an organization dedicated to funding and combating pediatric cancer. His experience ignited a relentless drive to make a difference in the lives of children battling this disease.
With this vision, he founded an organization that is committed to supporting innovative research, providing resources for families, and raising awareness about pediatric cancer. By uniting compassionate care with advocacy and community support, Marco aims to create a brighter future for young patients and their families, ensuring that no child faces cancer alone. Through fundraising events, educational initiatives, and partnerships with medical institutions, his organization is dedicated to fostering hope and healing for children affected by cancer.
